Microblading in Atlanta — Natural Korean-Method Brows
자연스러운 한국식 마이크로블레이딩, 이제 애틀랜타에서
Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique that creates the look of individual hair strokes for fuller, more defined brows. At Aura Beauty in Atlanta metro, it's performed by master artist Justina Cho using the Korean technique — finer strokes, custom pigment blending per skin tone, and a layered application that reads as natural brow density, not drawn on.

The Korean approach to microblading differs from the American or European style in three ways: finer hair strokes, softer pigment depth, and skin-tone-matched color mixing. Instead of bold, dense brows tattooed into the skin, the Korean method creates the appearance of brow hairs growing through the existing brow — a third dimension you can't get with one solid shade.
Justina Cho trained in this method and has been refining it for clients across two states (NY and now GA) since 2019. The technique is what produces the "wait, are those real?" reaction at brunch — and it's the inverse of the block-shape brow that still dominates a lot of American PMU studios.
한국식은 미국식보다 결이 더 얇고, 그라데이션이 자연스러워 마치 본인 눈썹처럼 보이는 것이 특징입니다.

Who Is Microblading For?
- You over-plucked in the 90s or early 2000s and your brow follicles never came back the same.
- Your natural brows are sparse or asymmetrical — common after illness, alopecia, chemotherapy, or just genetics.
- You want to wake up with brows that already look done — no daily filling with pencil or pomade.
- You're active — gym, ocean, travel — and tired of brow makeup budging mid-day.
- Your previous PMU work looks too dark or too dense — color correction service rebuilds natural-looking strokes over the old work.
How Korean Microblading Differs from American Style
What this means at Aura Beauty
- Custom pigment per skin tone— we don't use pre-set "brown" or "dark brown." Pigment is mixed on-site based on your natural brow color, undertone, and surrounding skin.
- Finer blade gauge — Korean blades are typically thinner than American standard, producing more subtle hair strokes.
- Layered density technique — building strokes in two passes within the session allows the body to lock pigment more cleanly than single-pass work.
- Bilingual EN/KR service — Justina runs every consultation in Korean or English. Pigment terminology often lands more accurately in Korean.
The Process — Microblading at Aura Beauty
1. Free consultation (30 min)
We discuss your goals, review your medical history, and confirm you're a good candidate. We also map several brow shapes on your face with pencil so you can see options before any pigment is touched.
2. Color selection
Justina custom-mixes pigments to match your natural brow color and complement your skin's undertone. We test on the skin before committing to the final tone.
3. Shape mapping
Brow shape mapped in pencil first. You see exactly what shape will be locked before any pigment goes in. Free adjustments here; not after pigment is placed.
4. The procedure (1.5 – 2 hours)
Strokes built in 2 layers. Topical numbing applied. Most clients describe the procedure as 3-4 out of 10 discomfort.
5. Aftercare + 6-week touch-up
Detailed aftercare card with day-by-day healing instructions. Free touch-up scheduled at 6 weeks — this is when we perfect depth and even out lighter spots.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does microblading cost in Atlanta?
Korean-method microblading at Aura Beauty in Atlanta runs $550 initial, $650 with shading, $400 for color correction. All pricing includes the free 6-week touch-up.
How long does microblading last?
12-18 months on average. Oilier skin and sun exposure fade faster. Most clients refresh annually at $300-400 (annual refresh tier).
Does microblading hurt?
Most clients rate it 3-4 out of 10 with topical numbing applied before and between passes. The outer brow tends to be slightly more sensitive than the head.
What's the difference between microblading and nano brows?
Microblading uses a hand tool with a fine blade for natural hair strokes. Nano brows use a digital machine with a single needle. Both create hair-stroke results; nano brows hold better on oilier skin and last slightly longer. Aura offers both — consultation determines which is right for your skin type.
